CBRE Comments: April 2017 Sales Volume

“Momentum has been the key driver for sales transactions so far - momentum in terms of the number of launches since the first major launch in February, and momentum in sales, which has favoured new launches with some spillover effect on previously launched developments in the vicinity.

Statistically, sales from ongoing projects made up 60-65% of the new homes sold.  While prices remained generally stable, the unsold inventory has shrunk further and may encourage developers to re-look selling prices.

Nonetheless, while demand seems to be still healthy, the sales volume may be affected by the tapering of new launches in the 2nd half of 2017.”
