In order to strengthen the presence of CB Richard Ellis in Northern China, and in  response to increased demand from domestic and international developers, investors and occupiers, for enhanced service capabilities, CB Richard Ellis formally  opened an office inTianjin in November 2006. The opening of this office also forms part of the expansion of operations of CB Richard Ellis to second-tier cities across China.  CB Richard Ellis has accumulated more than ten years of professional experience in servicing the market in China, with the firm being very active in the Tianjin real estate market since 2003. The opening of the Tianjin office is an important step in the expansion of the business capabilities of CB Richard Ellis across Greater China and reflects the long-term commitment of the company to the China market.

With the rapid economic development of Tianjin, in particular within the vicinity of the Bohai Bay Rim, an increasing number of international and local organisations are selecting Tianjin as a location within which to invest, thus strengthening the volume of demand for professional real estate services.  

With the new office in Tianjin, CB Richard Ellis is in a strong position to service land owners, developers, investors and occupiers via the provision of a full range of real estate services including research and consulting, valuation, property sales and leasing, investment services, as well as property management.

With the implementation of new development plans associated with both Tianjin and the Binhai New Area, it is anticipated that there will be a significant growth in both the infrastructure and real estate sectors. In line with the positioning of Tianjin as the ‘International Sea Port and Economic Centre of North China’, it is considered that there is very significant potential in the real estate sector in Tianjin, as well as a growing need for high quality and professional services.
