Meeta Shingne is Director within the Asia Occupier Consulting (AOC) Practice. Meeta is primarily responsible to lead and support the business development and platform development of Occupier Consulting practice line across Asia Pacific, with key focus on advising corporate occupiers on aligning real estate portfolio strategies with their business strategies including portfolio optimization and portfolio performance improvement, market entry strategies; ultimately improving impact on Balance Sheet or Income statement.
Meeta has been supporting the cross service line business development for Occupier Consulting within Asia. Meeta’s specific client experience includes advising on portfolio planning best practices, and developing long term metro and country portfolio plans. Key projects include:
Strategy for 2Mil SF mixed assets portfolio in Singapore including transaction structuring and sales strategies for owned assets
5 year strategic roadmap for 1.4Mil SF regional multi country portfolio with an aggressive target to generate real estate cost savings
Strategies for mixed assets portfolios ranging from 800KSF to 3Mil SF in China and India to maximize owned assets value and create sustainable real estate cost strategies
Other projects include advising multinational clients on new market entry and city selection strategies
Prior to joining CBRE, Meeta was based in the USA for 9 years. As the Manager Real Estate for WPP Group USA, Meeta was responsible for developing a Program to establish strategic portfolio initiatives. These included a large change management program to develop consistent portfolio planning process across USA, multi asset strategies, and integration strategies for portfolio acquired through business Mergers and Acquisitions. After successful implementation in the USA, this Strategic Alignment Program was further implemented on the global portfolio.
Prior to WPP Group, Meeta worked with a Real Estate investment advisory and capital raising firm in Boston on redevelopment and investment opportunities ranging from small to mid size investments within the state of Massachusetts, USA.
