As the Executive Director in charge of Office Services, Mr Armstrong has been actively involved in the

Singapore commercial property

 market since 1998.  His key area of responsibility is advising a variety of multinational clients and larger occupiers in real estate strategy, tenant representation and transactions.

Prior to joining CBRE, he worked as an investment surveyor in one of the UK’s largest and most active property funds, Standard Life, with experience across the office, retail and industrial sectors.  He also spent three years running the agency department of the Scottish office of Gooch and Wagstaff.

Upon moving to Asia in 1992, Mr Armstrong joined CBRE, Hong Kong working in office agency and assuming overall responsibility for two sole major marketing agencies, the 100,000 s.m. Gateway development and 40,000 s.m. Park Lane Square developments in Kowloon.

Mr Armstrong was an active representative of CB Richard Ellis’ Corporate Services team both in Hong Kong and in Indonesia following relocation in 1996. During his 3 years in Indonesia, Mr Armstrong ran agency operations and corporate services.

For the past 8 years, Mr Armstrong has been a leading figure in Office Services in Singapore and he is one of the most experienced market experts in the office sector.  His scope of experience covers project marketing, professional services, rent reviews, preparation of master plans and implementation of strategy, leasing and purchase negotiations for a wide range of multinational clients.

For his outstanding performance and contribution to the company, Mr Armstrong was awarded the Excellence in Office Services in 2007 at the prestigious Asia Circle of Excellence.  The annual programme recognizes CB Richard Ellis’ top professionals across Asia.
