Singapore, 19 March 2018 - Leading real estate services firm CBRE is building its next-generation Innovation Centre of Excellence in South East Asia at its new 31,000 sf campus at Paya Lebar Quarter. The move will see up to 600 employees from the firm’s wide range of service lines co-locate in a single national office.
Paya Lebar Quarter’s live, work and play concept is a perfect complement to CBRE’s vision of next generation future offices.
Pauline Goh, CEO of CBRE’s South East Asia Hub firmly believes that the move is a critical step for the future of the company, which celebrates its 60th milestone in Singapore this year.
Ms Goh said “We believe that Paya Lebar Quarter represents the optimum location to bring the employees across CBRE’s wide range of service lines into a new national office. Key criteria in our choice included the tremendous connectivity and the wealth of amenities, lifestyle, health and wellness options that the development offers. PLQ’s large floorplates support our vision to create a Living Lab that will incorporate the very best of CBRE’s leading property technology. We are planning a truly world class facility that reflects CBRE’s leading position in real estate services”.
CBRE will leverage its new global people-led, technology platform that connects the workplace experience and employee to community: (Company culture, communication and employee interactions); Services: (Reception, concierge, document services, mail, food and beverage, wellness) and Environments: (Access control, conference room booking, wayfinding, occupancy measurements). CBRE 360 helps occupiers and investors create bespoke transformative workplace solutions and destinations of choice by integrating property services and amenities with advanced digital technologies. Leveraging its market-leading strengths in workplace strategy and occupancy planning, design and build-out, and property and facilities management, along with our industry-leading technology capabilities, the CBRE 360 services are embedded in major, global CBRE business lines. Solutions will be customized to deliver on each client’s unique culture and workplace requirements.
In designing the new space, CBRE will also utilize its proprietary technology, Floored, to visualize and edit floor plans in 2D and 3D.
Moray Armstrong, Managing Director, Advisory & Transaction said “The Living Lab concept that we are planning at PLQ is a critical step in planning for CBRE’s future generation of employees. This innovation hub will be a hotbed for the development, testing and delivery of tech tools and prop tech solutions for our clients”.
CBRE will maintain a core CBD office to supplement its campus when it relocates in the third quarter of 2019.
