CBRE is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Clemence Lee, who joins its Singapore Capital Markets team today as Senior Director. He reports to Michael Tay, Head of Capital Markets, Singapore.
Through his eight years of real estate experience, Mr Lee has been successful in representing clients in their acquisition and/or disposal of investment properties, notably those of mid-market that are worth S$10 million to S$100 million. At CBRE, Mr Lee will continue to have responsibility in advising investors and owners through their real estate investment decision-making process.
Mr Michael Tay, Head of Capital Markets, Singapore, says, “We are delighted to have Clemence on board. He has been widely regarded within the Singapore Capital Markets circle as one of the tenacious and outstanding performers.”
“Clemence’s addition is part of our ongoing commitment to always deepen our capabilities across assets in achieving sustainable growth for the business. His market knowledge and proven track record – particularly his niche in the strata commercial and shophouse sectors – will further boost our capital markets offerings and the high quality of service that clients have come to expect from CBRE,” adds Mr Tay.
Mr Lee last served at JLL as Senior Director of Capital Markets, Singapore, where he led a team focusing on mid-market investment properties. Over the past five years, Mr Lee had transacted more than S$900 million worth of properties, which included several high profile deals such as the sale of a portfolio of 10 CBD shophouses (S$82.5 million), The Claremont Hotel (S$68 million), 265-271 South Bridge Road (S$54 million), a portfolio of 14 7-Eleven shops (S$45 million) and more than 50 shophouses. Meanwhile, his representative projects in the strata commercial space include AXA Tower, Sunshine Plaza and TripleOne Somerset.
Mr Lee shares, “CBRE is widely recognized by clients as the industry leader for real estate services in the world and I am excited to be part of the Singapore Capital Markets team. I believe that the company’s global platform, strong branding and integrated services will allow me to serve clients better and to deliver greater positive outcomes for them.”
