Lim Lay See has been the Senior Executive Director of CBRE having 31 years of work experience in the Singapore commercial real estate market. She is a fundamental player in handling the sale of investment properties. She is responsible for heading the office leasing services team in Singapore, assisting and advising occupiers and owners of office space. Lim jointly heads up a team of 19 professional negotiators who are the leading team of office agents being responsible for 75% of all lease transactions in Singapore since 1990.
Lay See has worked with most of the major financial institutions in the preparation and implementation of strategy and leasing negotiations. Some of the larger tenant representation works undertaken by her includes: Citibank, QBE, BNP Paribas, Canon, NOL and CPF.
Leveraging her well-established network of clients, Lay See has also been instrumental in handling the sale of major investment properties. These consists of the landmark sale of Singapore’s largest private property sale between Asia’s largest property developer CapitaLand and Macquarie Global Property Advisors (MGPA) for a record of $1.038 billion. In addition, She was subsequently involved with the sale of Hitachi Tower, $811million to a US fund, Singapore Power Building for $1 billion, Atrium at Orchard, $839.8 million and Starhub Centre, $380 million which was sold on behalf of CCT.
