Michael has vast experience as an office market strategist and he has been personally involved in many prominent leasing transactions in the Singapore office market. This includes leases concluded for MNCs such as BNP Paribas, Prudential, Visa and Unilever. One of his most notable transaction was the relocation of the Central Provident Fund (CPF) and the divestment of CPF Building.
In addition to the above, Michael has been involved in the divestment of the following commercial assets – including 78 Shenton Way, 79 Anson Road, 135 Cecil Street, I12 Katong, Robinson Point and Samsung Hub (strata floors).
Michael Tay heads the Capital Markets team in Singapore and also jointly oversees the Office Services team.
A 21-year veteran in the real estate industry, Michael has a wealth and breadth of experience ranging from leasing to capital market transactions. He provides advisory services to clients on cross-border transactions and connects both local and overseas investors with opportunities in Singapore.
Michael’s views on the office sector has also been regularly sought after and quoted by the media.
