Joan leads CBRE’s Retail Services in Singapore, managing an experienced team of negotiators to provide retail advisory and leasing services, and supporting consultancy study projects. With three decades of experience, she provides strategic solutions for landlords and occupiers to drive success in prime retail locations. 

Joan’s illustrious real estate career spans back to 1994 when she started at an international real estate advisory firm. Her journey includes a pivotal role as a key landlord in the redevelopment of a prominent Orchard Road mall in 1996. Since her tenure at CBRE began in 2005, she has been at the forefront of leasing and marketing efforts for significant projects, including Mandarin Gallery, Changi Airport Terminal 3 (Landside), Compass One, Claymore Connect, and Collyer Quay Centre.

Joan’s expertise is multifaceted, spanning landlord and tenant advisory, marketing, asset enhancement, and tenant network planning. Her work with leading brands, including tenant retainer arrangements, allows her to craft tailored retail strategies from market entry, expansion, to retail experiences. Her deep understanding of stakeholders positions her as a trusted advisor, capable of delivering impactful solutions for clients across Singapore’s prime retail locations.
