Professional Experience
Mian is an Associate Director and a leading consultant of CBRE’s Regional Consulting team under the Advisory & Transaction Services business line. She is a key team member on projects revolving occupier strategies, portfolio planning and advisory services for various clients in the region. Since 2018, She has worked on assisting clients with their portfolio strategies across Asia Pacific. In particular, she has been helping investors and occupiers make better decisions using CBRE’s proprietary retail analytics tool – Calibrate. Mian brings with her a deep understanding of the optimization of real estate, both at the portfolio and asset level.
Prior to CBRE, Mian was in roles where she provided strategic advice to public and private developers on the acquisition, development and enhancement of commercial and residential properties using benchmarking, gap analyses and financial modelling to assess project feasibility. On the research front, she was responsible for the timely publication of reports on the Singapore Residential sector and Capital Markets. Her articles have been adopted and published in The Business Times and The Straits Times. Additionally, Mian has supported acquisition and asset management functions involving commercial properties in Australia, backed by her knowledge in market research, financial modelling, due diligence, valuation review, asset plan preparation, lease negotiation, and portfolio performance reporting and enhancement.
